Woottens Join Bowen Travel Group - May 2011
Bowen Travel Group has acquired a 75% interest in Woottens. Operating with similar core values Woottens will fit seamlessly within the Bowen Travel Group of companies. The acquisition allows the Bowen Travel Group to expand its operating area further into Buckinghamshire and gives Woottens access to a larger range of tours to offer its clients.
Bowen Travel Group CEO, Ronald Graham says “Woottens have become a fully participating member of the group and this will allow the group access to an expanded network for coaching and tour operation. I feel Woottens is a natural fit with the existing group and will through cooperation and development lead to further growth in business to the mutual benefit of both Woottens and BTG”.
The Bowen Travel Group is one of the UK’s largest independently owned travel businesses, specialising in coach holidays throughout Britain & Europe.
Operating across the Midlands and Lincolnshire under the brand names Applebys, Bowens, Yorks, Jeffs and Nottingham City Coaches, the Bowen Travel Group offers a high standard of customer care including a comprehensive Door to Door Home Collections service and a range of Royal Class Elite tours.
