At the recent launch of the new Tiger Line T1 service, at an event held in Wendover Bucks, Woottens in conjunction with the Royal Air Force announced that all serving military personnel, be they Royal Air Force, Army or Navy would enjoy free travel on the new Tiger Line T1 service.

* IMPORTANT TIMETABLE CHANGES *

COMMENCING MONDAY 30^th MARCH 2009

As a result of the economic downturn in the UK we have made major changes to the Tiger Line T1 to ensure that the level of service meets demand and to provide a sustainable base for the future.

The present timetable has been replaced with a completely new timetable.

The frequency of the service has been reduced from every 60 minutes to every 90 minutes. The new timetable has been designed to provide easy to remember departure times from both Aylesbury and Hemel Hempstead.

The new timetable only operates Monday to Friday, there is no Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday service.

There are no peak departures, the operating day is from 08.45 to 17.00.

The fares remain the same and the service continues to accept National Concessionary Passes, Bucks Citizencard and Intalink Explorer tickets.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for their support over the past 7 months. The action we have taken will ensure that the service is there for the future.

About Tiger Line

Tiger Line is a quality local bus service from Woottens. The route links Aylesbury - Stoke Mandeville - Wendover - Great Missenden - Chesham - Bovingdon to Hemel Hempstead (Monday to Friday).

We designed the service to provide new public transport links for the residents of Bucks \ Herts and to provide people with an environmental travel choice.

For the first time in many years there is now a bus service linking Chesham & Great Missenden to Aylesbury.

People in Bovingdon, Whelpley Hill, Lye Green, Chesham, Hyde End and Great Missenden also have a direct bus link to Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

As you would expect from Woottens Tiger Line T1 is a high quality service operated by a dedicated team of drivers; all trained in customer care skills.

National Concessionary Passes, Bucks Citizencard and Intalink Explorer tickets are accepted.

The service is operated using high quality inter-urban buses, incorporating coach style seats, natural ventilation, improved leg room, electronic displays and panoramic windows.
